College of Arts

The College of Education and Human Services has a dynamic history of preparing highly qualified educators and human services professionals. Our nationally renowned, award-winning programs were among the first in the country accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Here, your professional knowledge base is built on critical thinking and your practical experience can be acquired in a broad range of fields, from athletic training and exercise science to nutrition and food science, family and child studies, public health, and elementary and secondary school teaching.

Rolling Admission (Freshman):

APPLY TODAY

There are two ways to apply for Freshman admissions.

Early Action: A non-binding application for those with a strong record of academic achievement and in-depth involvement in their school communities. These candidates typically have a 3.5 GPA or above and placed in the top 10 percent of their graduating class. You will be notified by December 15th, 2013.

Rolling Admission: Applications received after November 15, 2013 are reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning January 1, 2014. Spring admission which starts in January and notification 2-4 weeks after completion of application.

TRANSFER APPLICANTS

Fall Admission (September start):
  Deadline: May 1
  Notification: 2-4 weeks after completion of application

Spring Admission (January start):
  Deadline: November 15
  Notification: 2-4 weeks after completion of application
